工芸家は1から10までを自らの手で作品を作り上げる。
しかし、0から10ではない。
0から1は自然、環境、社会が生み出した材、思想、伝統。
これを見極め、作品へと変えていく。
巡り、巡り、無自覚の中であっても、私たちはこの世界と呼応している。
私たちは、輪の中にいる。
それはとても大きな輪だから、自らの目線だけでは直線の様に感じる。
その為、時に俯瞰し遠い未来を想像してみる。
丹念に10まで創り上げた作品も、9となり、8となり、やがて1や0に還るだろう。

輪は回り続ける。
Craftspeople create their works from one to ten with their own hands.
But it is not from zero to ten.
Zero to one is the ideas, traditions, natural resources and
materials that our environment and society created.
Craftspeople identify these elements and transform them into works of art.
Going round and round, we are all connected in this world
without even being aware of it.
We are in a loop.
But because it is a huge loop, we perceive it as a straight line.
That is why we sometimes try to take a bird’s eye view and
imagine the distant future.
Even a carefully created artwork that has reached ten will turn into
nine, then eight, and eventually return to one or zero.
